Ilikai Apt 1042 - Spacious Ocean & Lagoon View Studio – Ilikai Waikiki – Sleeps 4

The location of the room and view was great! However, the room itself was left to be desired ...it's pretty old and dated and wasn't very clean. The shower door was hard to slide along the track so I kept it open as I didn't want to risk breaking the glass, the base of the toilet was stained and the bathroom had a rancid urine smell to it. The outlets by the beds were very loose and couldn't keep my charger plugged in without pushing the night stands against it.. also that is how the lamps were able to stay plugged in. I came from another unit on the 25th floor to this room and was a big downgrade. Overall , I would not stay at this unit again..Plus side communication with property manager was great. Unfortunately I had to cut my trip short and had to leave after 3 nights.

Great room - close to everything with very nice amenities. No problems with the A/c. Would stay again.

You get what you pay for when you travel. The price on this unit was on the lower end for accommodations in Waikiki. The room as advertised has a great view of the ocean and the lagoon. Beyond that perk, the rest of the location is average. Main Pro: close to everything and spectacular views from the balcony.Main Con: Air Conditioner leaks so much water that you have to dump condensation pans every four hours or their will be spillage running off of the balcony. Not the end of the worst thing ever, but it’s a pretty big inconvenience over the course of a warm and humid evening/night.
